A pilot project has been started to implement international accreditation standards in healthcare facilities.

The Aktobe Medical Center, on the initiative of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was included in a pilot project of the World Bank to introduce international quality standards.
In the period from July 15 to 20, in the city of Nur-Sultan, on the basis of the Republican Center for Health Development, employees from 17 medical institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan were trained on the theme “basics of project management, international accreditation standards, an internal audit system for the quality of medical services and hospital services”.


The training was attended by the medical director of a multidisciplinary hospital A.B. Esenzhulova, the head of the nursing service of AMC V.V. Rybakova. Experts in various fields were invited as lecturers: “YCG” managing partner Arman Yevniev, who told about project management, RCHD general director Ainur Aypkhanova and international accreditation expert Anel Abenova familiarized medical workers with international accreditation standards, as well as expert practitioners on medical services of the Russian Federation and business coach of “IMB company” Marina Maksheeva held a master class on hospital services.


As part of the implementation of this project, during the year, domestic experts on international accreditation, together with the Center for Accreditation of the Republican Center for RCHD and the CQCSGS, will implement international accreditation standards, methodological support and visits to each of the 17 pilot medical organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
