A master class was held at the Aktobe Мedical Сenter

Within the framework of the Republican scientific and practical conference with international participation «Innovations in emergency surgery», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist of the RK N.I. Izimbergenov on the basis of the Aktobe Мedical Сenter on December 26, 2017 a master class on endoscopic surgery was held.

Head of the endoscopy department of the Samara Regional Clinical Hospital, candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the highest category Yu.I. Biktagirov (Russia) has performed 4 operations — endoscopic retrograde papillocholangiography followed by endoscopic papillosfinkterotomy.

The average age of the operated patients was 70 year, in the history of the diseasegallstone disease, acute pancreatitis with the development of mechanical jaundice. The patients needed surgical intervention, it should be noted that the minimally invasive intervention performed taking into account age and the presence of concomitant pathology contributes to the improvement of the treatment outcome and the quality of life of our patients.

With the active participation of Dr. Biktagirov in our region, such operative interventions were first introduced on the basis of the Emergency Hospital, where his student — surgeon Bazarbai A.A. is working now.
