"Day of the nurse" in the Aktobe medical center!
On May 12th, World Day of the Nurse is celebrated. The professional holiday of nurses in our center is traditionally given great attention, competitions, solemn events are held, the best workers are encouraged.
A solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the Nurse was held in the Aktobe Medical Center. Chief physician Issayev Rustem Kanapievich made a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of nursing in the treatment and diagnostic process, pointed out the special role of nurses in quality medical care and expressed gratitude to the nurses for their professionalism and endless patience in everyday practice.
In a solemn atmosphere, letters of commendation and letters were received from Governance of Health and the administration of our center for the successful work of 25 nurses. Chief physician Issayev R.K. handed me medals «Meirim» for conscientious work to the following employees: the senior nurse of the somatic department of the pediatric hospital Ubenizova Gulzhamiga Dauletovna, the nurse of the infection control of the pediatrichospital Dusipova Sarkyt Kabyltaevna, the main nurse of the CDC Tleugalieva Zina Dzhamankulovna, the primary health nurse Snezhkova Olga Viktorovna.
On the eve of the celebration of the Day of the Nurse in the Aktobe Medical Center, among nurses of a pediatric hospital, a multi-purpose hospital, a consultative — diagnostic centera professional skill contest was held. In the contest in two nominations «Best nurse of dressing room» and «Best nurse of procedureroom» 18 nurse participated, according to the terms of the competition each participant presented a video about performing nursing manipulation. At the same time, the competitive commission took into account the implementation of manipulations in accordance with approved standard operating procedures, as well as compliance with international patient safety goals: patient identification, surgical safety, infection control, adherence to high-risk medicines and oral transmission rules.
As a result of the competition, participants were awarded with certificates, in the nomination «Best nurse dressing room» the winner was the nurse of the department of vascular surgery Gubaidullina Kulyaym Nazhmadinovna and the title «Best nurse procedure room» was awarded to the nurse of cardiology department Utegulova Ainamkoz Karabekovna. Winners were awarded prizes in the form of a commemorative sign with the inscription «Ayauli Alan», a ribbon with a gold inscription «Best nurse of 2018», a letter of commendation and a cash prize.
After the official part, the spectators were presented with a festive concert program prepared by the staff of the center with the participation of the trade union committee.
