Cooperation with the NSC for Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov

In modern conditions, one of the urgent problems is the timely diagnosis of liver diseases. As part of our institution, there is a gastro-endoscopic and hepatologic center, where the whole range of necessary diagnostic measures for identifying the pathology of the gastrointestinal tract and the hepatobiliary system (instrumental and laboratory investigations, consultations with specialized specialists) is provided. In the period from 29.05.2018 - 30.05.2018 on the basis of the gastro-hepatologic center, a consultative reception was held for employees from the National Scientific Center for Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov: professor, hepatologist Ilyasova B.S., gastroenterologist Abzhaparova B.S., transplant surgeon Serikuly E. 28 patients with viral hepatitis “B” were examined. The blood was taken from patients for an immunological and genetic study, while 2 patients were recommended liver transplantation.

During the visit, the guests held a seminar for doctors on the topic: "Actual issues of diagnosis of diffuse and focal liver diseases." The specialists were familiarized with international protocols for diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis, liver echinococcosis, management tactics for patients with terminal liver diseases, indications for liver transplantation, and diagnostic criteria for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
